Sirius XM is a great product that works surprisingly well in the field. But ... the company's customer relations are abysmal. I have read numerous horror stories about how difficult it is to cancel Sirius XM service. In particular, cancelling a credit card billed account is arduous. Sirius goes out of its way to make this difficult. So what is the solution? Paying for the service with the Prepaid Service Card. They do not have your credit card, and cannot continue billing you after you cancel. IT works, and I should know -- it's how I use the service.

I recently purchased the Sirius XM Satellite Tuner which was installed in my vehicle by Best Buy Geek Squad Technicians. Prior to having the unit installed, I had to go to Sirius XM website and setup an account which required my personal information and a credit card to activate the service. Being new to this service and wanting to maintain some control and limitations of charges too my credit card, I purchased a prepaid XM Satellite card and added it on my account and it worked out perfectly. I found that Best Buy is one of a handful of retailers that have the XM Satellite prepaid cards in different denominations for sale and I hope that Best Buy continues to stock this item.

Love being able to buy these prepaid cards so that Sirius XM can accept these instead of giving them a debit card and getting charged a much higher price.

I purchased 2 $50.00 SiriusXM gift cards for my husband for his Christmas gift. I am very excited to give it to him. Last year I loaded $100.00 on a net spend card for my husband, and lost the remaining $16.00 that was on it. It’s great to have this option to use this SiriusXM gift card than using a personal credit card or debit card. I will definitely pass on the word that such gift card is available at Best Buy.

Sirius XM Gift Cards are the only way to pay for Sirius XM. These are the reasons why: 1. You don't have to give Sirius XM your credit card. 2. You get Best Buy points for buying them, which can be used to offset the cost of the purchasing future cards. 3. You put the value into your account prior to the end of your subscription, and you can negotiate a great deal. It's great!

In today’s technically advanced society, cyber criminals and ID theft is the new threat we face. Their attacks on our privacy and infiltration of our personal finances are out of control. I like having the options to pay for certain services by other means and being a XM Satellite Subscriber, Best Buy helps to make paying my subscription fee convenient by the XM Satellite pre-paid card. I hope that Best Buy will keep this item in stock and available for sale.

SiriusXM is great but I was hesitant to give them my credit card number (after hearing horror stories about stopping service). This is my way around that! Simply add the card to your Sirius account and you're good to go. There are no Best Buy stores anywhere near me, so I order online and the card always arrives earlier than expected. Way to go, Best Buy! I highly recommend buying these cards if you plan on a Sirius subscription.

Upon Sirius XM subscription renewal, I prefer to maintain control of how I pay for this service to avoid any unwanted billing issues and to protect my payment source. Using the Sirius XM prepaid service card has been a great option for me and I’m glad that Best Buy continues to have the prepaid cards available to purchase.
