A:AnswerHi Jeffery,
Thank you for reaching out to us! No, it's not a fire hazard as long as you take normal precautions by not leaving it running while gone, or blocking the vent while using the heater. It does not need to be unplugged when you leave the house. The heater cannot be disconnected separately, but you can use the heat and flames independently of one another. Let us know if you have any other questions!
A:AnswerHi Atrain,
This unit is 58" long, so the largest we recommend is 60-65". You may be able to make it work, there would just be some overhang. We do have larger stands if you're interested. You can search "Walker Edison 70" TV stands" on Best Buy's site to find them. This one is the same finish, and also has a fireplace, but it is not a highboy and doesn't have closed storage.

A:AnswerHi Dillman
It does not come with a remote control. However, it does have 2 switches on the front that allows you to control the heat and flames separately. Let us know if you have any other questions!
A:AnswerHi Stevewvu,
This stand is 32" high, 58" from side to side, and 16" from front to back. It weighs about 120 LBS assembled and can support up to 250 LBS.
A:AnswerVoltage: 120 VAC 60 Hz
Watts: 1400 Watts
I have no idea what this means. Just typed it right from the manual.
It recommends using the 3 prong right into wall.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi compgl, thank you for your question. We would recommend getting a larger size stand as the TV could hang off the edge and possibly be bumped.
A:AnswerHi Kela,
We ship to your front door and depending on where you purchase your item from, assembly is an option. I would check with who you decide to go through to see if that is something they can offer you.
I hope this answers your question. Thanks!
