Hi! Keep the wand 2cm from the surface you want to scan, with 10s scanning time, it will generate 5000 uJ power and its SGS lab tested to be able to kill larger bacteria like E-Coli,Staphylococcus Aureus etc. Virus is much smaller and easier to kill Vs. E-Coli. Also, there are many fake UVC product online, 59s is so far the only one with EPA, SGS, FDA medical class one certification, we are the leading UVC factory and brand in the industry, we do not go with fake UVC LED, and we do not mix UVC led with UVA/UVB leds.

It takes 59 to 180 seconds to sterilize. That is why the light has an automatic 3 minute timer. This light is probably fake UVC though.
