I use it for mostly retro gaming on pc. Has a learning curve to and 4 different settings on bottom for different types of platforms, steam, ximput, ect.

Yes, you will want to download their 8BitDo Ultimate Software. The controller can be used over USB or Bluetooth. There's a good deal of customization that you can do too.
