• This controller can be used with the Switch as is, no additional adapters needed. I would recommend updating it to the latest firmware version which makes it possible to pair the controller by plugging it into the system through the USB cable. Also be aware that you are unable to wake the Switch from sleep mode by holding down the home button like you can on the Nintendo pro controller.

• Can be used out of the box on the Switch but cannot power on the Switch. Separate adapter is for pc connectivity.

• Mine paired with my Switch right out of the box. Then once more. Then it never paired again, not even directly plugged into the Switch. Hours of troubleshooting, it still won’t pair. Do not buy this controller for Switch gameplay, this pairing issue is common if you read the reviews.
