• No but you can get Microsoft online (free) from the Chrome Web Store to use Microsoft products.

• You can, but you will have to root the device because the Chrome OS only supports the Google apps suite.

• You could if you were very computer savvy, but its not recommended

• We have used an external DVD drive to install various packages so I assume you could install Office. I seem to recall that's how we installed Office 2016 on the unit. The DVD drive was a "plug and play" so no probs! YMMV

• You cannot install Microsoft Office on this unit with a CD Drive. You'll have to settle for Google Docs instead.
