This Chromebook does not include a built in CDROM/DVD. While you can connect an external USB drive to the Chromebook, there are limitations on what you can do with the drive. If you need to use an optical drive for reading/writing media, a Chromebook may not be for you because of those limitations, and a Windows laptop would suit you better.
