You can't load Windows on this. However you CAN access Microsoft Word if you have an Office 365 subscription through the Google Play Store. (You can also access other Office 365 products as well.) They work fine.

You can just use the office suite that Google gives you for free, you can save documents in the Microsoft formats if you need to email it to a professor/boss/co-worker. I've used it for years without a problem from Microsoft Office users.
