Chromebooks are designed to use the cloud for most storage. As mentioned by others, you can also use a thumb drive for additional storage. I have a Chromebook and use the cloud AND a thumb drive for situations where I need to have mobile access to files but won't have cloud access.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I think it depends on whether you are trying to save all of your work on the hard drive or whether you already have it on Google Drive. I've kept a lot of work on my ACER but am deleting files that I might download. I hope this helps.
