- Answer Chromebooks store no data and so they are intrinsically more secure than Windows 10. .... Unless the machine has some form of biological recognition, IE finger-print or iris recognition. Chromebooks are much quicker from start to finish and batteries last longer in my experience.

- Answer The 1st time you turn on a Chromebook it has to have the AC power connected. Plug in the power cord then press the power button on the keyboard for about 2 seconds.

- Answer Yes! I found Chrome RDP in the Web Store that allows a connection to a company server. It says that it is free for 7 days and then it costs $9.99 per license. I was expecting a message or some kind of warning after 7 days that the free trial was over, but I didn't receive one. The connection worked beautifully and provided the same security protocols as a Windows or Mac does.

- Answer Around 8 hours with heavy use. The newest Toshiba Chromebook 2 cpu is double the speed of the Acer (make sure its the model with a celeron 3215u) Better IPS screen, back light keypad, Micro SD slot, it is not as fancy looking as the Acer but is a superior machnie. Also if your willing to spend more money then the HP Chrome 13 is worth considering also.

QuestionI've noticed using the trackpad to scroll up/down or even putting my finger on it lightly (mainly in the clickable area) I hear a little faint tap/click (like if you tapped the metal side by the keyboard w/ your fingernail lightly). Any idea if normal?

- Answer Apparently there is a problem with the trackpad, in less than 2 months I heard the same thing for a day or two and then it just jammed up, rendering the Chromebook useless. Am in the process of sending it out to the manufacturer. It's ridiculous that it's made so cheaply not to even last a few months. Very disappointed with this Chromebook.
