“It looks like this monitor has speakers built into the back but the integrated speakers under the full specs section says "No". Are speakers on the back side of this monitor? I want to hear audio from my NVR security system via HDMI cable.”

While the chassis may support built in speakers, this particular model does not have built in speakers or audio out port.
