• Yes, the Acer - Aspire 15.6" Laptop has DVD+RW, DVD-RW and CD-RW.

• No -- it does NOT include a CD/DVD Drive. Actually, we looked at probably twenty different laptops and NONE of the laptops came with a CD/DVD drive. The Best Buy Geek said that most of the manufacturers have stopped including the CD/DVD drive. We purchased an external CD/DVD Drive for $34. Depending upon your required capability, Best Buy sells CD/DVD's in the price range of $34 - $125.
