Good question. I called Best Buy customer support and they said it is 1080. I informed them about the Acer specs on the Acer website and after they checked it out they told me I needed to contact Acer. It is possible this is a "special" version for Best Buy. I ordered one and will get it Friday, so I'll update then. If it is not 1080p then this is not that great a deal at a "flash" price of $350 and not at all at $499 -- Amazon has an equivalent HP - same processor and HD size, more RAM (8 GB vs. 4 GB DDR4 SDRAM), actual 1080P, ac wifi, Bluetooth, etc. -- for $459
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the Acer web site there are two Aspire E model numbers. E5-575-52 JF which is listed as HD 1366x768 E5-575-52 RJ which is listed as full HD 1920X1080 The BB add is for the JF model
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We understand having correct specifications is important, and we apologize that there was a discrepancy with this specification. We have addressed this and this information has been corrected. I would just like to confirm that the correct resolution for this product is 1366x768.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just picked it up today. It is not 1080. Instead it is 1366*768. I might be returning it to the store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue - Just purchased this unit (SKU 5238201 06/07, and printed out Best Buy website description and specs. Print out clearly shows "1920 X 1080 (Full KD)". But now, Best Buy web site for the SAME SKU shows much less. Would not have purchased, as Resolution was a primary part of my decision. Have no choice but to wait until Friday delivery, to see what's up. My thanks to all of you who raised this issue in questions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I saw the same thing. 768 or 1080??? Acer says the E5-575-52JF is 768. Which is it?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope - received e-mail from BB customer service upon my inquiry that stated it is 1366 x 768- not a good "flash" deal at $349 let alone any a good price at $499
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
