How long does the battery life last??? null

I recently purchased this notebook and found that the battery life isn't that great. I keep the screen at 25% brightness and only light browsing and chatting. I would say that ~6 hours is the upper limit of what I've reached. Maybe the battery needs some break-in until it gets better, I'm not sure. But I can say that it goes on when I get home from work at 6 pm and is charged to 100% when it first goes on. By the time I shut it off at bedtime around midnight, it's at roughly 10%. I leave the screen on to see chat notifications. I also do very light web browsing and about 15 minutes worth of inputting numbers into a spreadsheet. No macros or intensive computing required from Excel either. I'm not sure what you need to do to get 9 hours out of this machine, but it wouldn't be an enjoyable experience using the machine to try and get 9 hours out of it.

I would suggest somewhere around 6 - 8 hours, which (of course) is going to be completely dependent on how you use the device.

This model has a battery life of up to 9 hours.

It lasts me about 3 hours if i use it non-stop.

On a full charge with the battery saver mode on I get about 7 hours.
