Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.here ya go - $60 for 1TB usb 3.0 .. you;'ll see the other versions in the list going upwards in the 5 TB range http://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-backup-plus-slim-1tb-external-usb-3-0-2-0-portable-hard-drive-silver/5 126024.p?id=1219110267948&skuId=5126024 This laptop has USB 3.0 ports and also 1 USB 3C (3.1) port as well if you wanted to get a little more power (you would need a 10$ adapter - usb 3c to female usb 3.0 to plug it up but theres no need / usb 3.0 is plenty good for ext HD....just thought i'd mention) If you wanted to get an external solid state drive you could do so as well, - less storage like 250 -500 gb, little more money but faster data access. for one of those you would probably wanna use the usb 3c theyre all just plug and play. I have a seagate 1 TB slim drive that I float between 2 computers, seagate also gives you pretty decent backup software so you can physically back up your data rather than the p.c constantly sending data up to drop box or one drive in the background.
