• no, just plug it in. battery lasts a very good length of time

• The battery is integrated into the motherboard. However, I get 8 hours even without battery saver on. Lenovo may make a battery to go in to their "oneport"

• There does not seem to be an easy method of swapping out batteries like you see on some laptops.

• This notebook uses an internal battery, there is some disassembly needed to swap out the battery.
