“Does it have a backlit keyboard?”

• Yes, it does. Interestingly enough, the supplied ACER specs leave the backlit keyboard information out. That was a dealbreaker for me. I even did an on-line chat with an ACER tech who told me it didn't have that feature, but when I saw it at Best Buy, it did.

• The Acer R-14 does have a back-lit keyboard and the level of brightness is adjustable.

• Yes, the keyboard has three settings. Off, medium, and high.

• its nice too... bright white on black. hated silver keys white on silver makes letters invisible. this keyboard was a top selling point.
