• Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet. While Microsoft Office is not included with the Chromebook, it is available to download from Google Play Store.

• No. This is a Chromebook. It runs Chrome OS, not windows. It works beautifully with Google Docs for free, or you can buy Windows Office and download the mobile apps from the Chrome store as well as any other app they have, and there are tons. Basically anything you can use on an android tablet is usable here.
