If you've previously used Chromebooks with underpowered processors and only 4gb of RAM, then I'm sure you ran into issues, especially with other tabs open. This Chromebook has a 12gen Intel i5 with 8gb of RAM. It can handle just about everything with ease. I can have 20+ tabs open with no problems. And if you don't have good wifi, then connect via ethernet cable for a better and more stable connection.
