It will only run GTA5 using a game streaming service and i am not sure at all about VR. Keep in mind its a chrome book and while the processor is really good the gpu is not. It was built to be a game streaming device not so much a stand alone device. With that in mind if you have good internet this thing is awesome for that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The caveat to gaming on this particular chromebook is to run cloud based gaming. Like Xbox Pass and the included trials to Nvidia and Luna. I think that is how you spell it. Long story short, you stream the games to this laptop so internet speed is very key to this working flawlessly. What makes it carry the gaming moniker is the display at 120hz and keyboard. By itself it does not have the graphics processing power to play demanding games. But paired with a good internet service and your choice of game streaming service it is more than excellant. I recommend Nvidias service if i had to pick only one.
