“1. I cannot connect my Google Pixel 7 phone to this. It's up to date. When I follow the steps to choose android phone to connect, the set up option isn't even available. Does the phone and the Chromebook need to be on the same network (2G/5G)?”

Acer has not tested a Google Pixel phone with our Chromebook products, but you might check on our Acer Community forum to see if other users can offer suggestions as well: community.acer.com. It has a very good peer to peer support you may find helpful as well.
