Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has not felt hot and I use it sitting on my pillow which blocks the fan vents. Also use it laying on couch without getting hot. I don't use it for gaming or videos. Normal use is scrolling internet. Read Unboxed Chromebook reviews of best 2020. This ranked #1 .The fan is suppose to help with over heat, but I don't hear the fan as other computers run loud. Love my chromebook. Speakers horrible though. You'll need ear buds.
