• I'm inclined to say Yes - if you can afford it, go for the better processor and larger SSD storage. You can never have too much of either :)

• You are not going to like the 3/2 aspect ratio screen. If it had a 16/9 aspect ratio with 2K screen, Yes it is worth $100, and you can run Linux on it they say.
