Yes, I have one of them connected via VGA (the another is HDMI plugged) and both of them displays a resolution of 1920x1080. Great quality of image.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The monitor has HDMI input and requires an HDMI cable to produce HD resolution, which is not possible via VGA input. The monitor also has a digital input and you can get higher resolution that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.VGA doesn't really ever support HD. It converts a digital signal into analog and loses it's "crispy-ness" in that conversion. That's why HDMI is typically better. HDMI doesn't convert the signal and lose quality. As for resolution, that is basically just the monitor and mine is set to 1680x1050. It looks great.
