No USB ports on monitor. Suggest you plug your keyboard in to your computer and use HDMI or DVI-D (VGA input as well) to monitor.

This monitor does not have any USB ports. It has HDMI, which I use, a VGA and one I don't recognize, but it's not a USB of any sort.

on a desktop model computer you plug your keyboard into the computer itself, not the monitor. there are two cords to plug the monitor into the computer, HDMI and VGA and which you use depends on what connector capability your computer has
