• No, you need to use the display port for 240hz. Hdmi does not support 240hz on this monitor.

• HDMI will max at 144hz. You need Display Port to hit 240.

• No. This monitor supports 144hz via HDMI and 240hz via DisplayPort. The GPU will also need to support 240hz. You might check with the laptop vendor to see if that GPU supports 240hz via DP connection.
