• You need a display port cable, hdmi only goes to 144hz.

• have you tried display port connection. Hdmi wont do 240hz. unfortunately, speaking from experience, you will find that cpu may bottleneck. Not sure about the 3D version. But I have a 5900x cpu and unimpressed to say the least.
