Yes. Not only can you upgrade the existing NvMe SSD, it also has an extra M.2 slot for a second NvMe, AND space for a 2.5" SATA SSD!!! Yes, making that a total of 3 slots for storage media.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this laptop and knew I wanted to upgrade it right away with another SSD.. Is it hard to do? No, not if you watch the YouTube video on how to install one. You flip it over, take out the 12 or so screws on the bottom of the case, and snap off the back carefully but use a flat edge tool or something to pry. The SSD is easily accessible and you just unscrew the cage piece, put your own SSD in, and then connect a special cable provided by Acer in your box to the motherboard just 2 inches from your drive. It's quite simple but be sure to undo the power from battery to motherboard before you do this. You will see a small cable leading into a white plastic connection on the motherboard from your battery with a tiny red outline to it, just pull out, you good to go. Replacing RAM and adding M2 simple as well. See attached photo as to how the inside looks with SSD drive bay in bottom left hand corner. Your M2/Ram near it to the right.
