I just did a 4K video editing test. It’s very capable of 4K editing. For playback you’ll want to hook up a 4K monitor or TV. That way you can clearly see the final results. The build in screen is only 1080p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe encoding 4k video is built into the 8th gen processors. It started with 7th gen processors. The graphics card should handle scrubbing footage in 4k no problem. Just buy a 2.5" drive to store footage on the computer. There's an empty slot for it.
