In the HDD/SSD bay I installed SAMSUNG 860 QVO Series 2.5" 1TB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD). It was new and on sale for $90. It's been working fine for almost a month. However, based on a technical recommendation for SSDs in general, I only partitioned 900GB of the drive. This leaves additional storage on the drive that the system will automatically use to increase the over-provisioning for longer lifetime.
