• It's all plastic but still has nice build quality IMO. The lid has a brushed metal "looking" finish, but it's made of plastic.

• Its definitely not metal. I would say plastic but feels just a tad sturdier.

• I believe that the outside cover is made of very fine plastic and the bottom is also plastic but not so fine ;) sense its flexible and does not sound like metal . but acre did such a great job at designing this laptop that it does not feel cheap and feels like a great and premium , the only part I'm not sure about is the keyboard area it feels very metallic , generally i think its the best feeling and powerful laptop i have came across for such price .
