It's all plastic but still has nice build quality IMO. The lid has a brushed metal "looking" finish, but it's made of plastic.

Please try again later.I believe that the outside cover is made of very fine plastic and the bottom is also plastic but not so fine ;) sense its flexible and does not sound like metal . but acre did such a great job at designing this laptop that it does not feel cheap and feels like a great and premium , the only part I'm not sure about is the keyboard area it feels very metallic , generally i think its the best feeling and powerful laptop i have came across for such price .
