It could be a bad battery; for help with this please contact Acer support; contact information is posted here for your convenience: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact There is a slot to install a 2.5" hdd if desired; a hdd kit should have been included with this laptop. If not, please contact the same support number to inquire about a hdd kit.
