It definitely gets very hot, very quickly, on even basic games. You don't want it flat on your lap, thats for sure. Overall it hopefully is designed to cool enough to prevent damage, but frequent high heat can really wear down a computer fast. This is a concern of mine and I'm debating keeping it, which is a shame cuz besides the heat and the HORRIBLE speakers, the computer seams very nice.

Please try again later.ive had this laptop since march and as it can get quite warm or hot when playing games with the laptop flat on the desk. but if you turn the fan on and either make a small DIY wedge or buy one the laptop has no issue keeping itself cool if the back is lifted a tiny bit which is what i do and i havent had any issues i play some psnow games and i turn the fans on and elevate the laptop slightly and it cools off very quickly and i see no glitches or interruption in gmaeplay.
