“Why when I connect my ps5 to in all I get is a black screen ? I can here sound no screen I’ve tryed different hdmi cables and nothing …also the buttons on the back don’t work is that normal I can change inputs or anything”

Try connecting the monitor to a laptop or desktop to see if you get a display. If you do, then the problem shouldn't be the monitor at that point.
