“Does this model have a warranty seal on a screw somewhere? The specs say there's an extra M.2 slot; would unscrewing the back to put an additional M.2 in void the warranty?”

Our documentation shows this model has two M.2 slots. As long as no damage occurs by opening the laptop to add storage, the warranty will not be voided.
