• No, the unit does not have a CD/DVD drive, nor does it have the licensed codecs to decode an external USB DVD drive. It is great for watching videos however. Just get them online (play store to rent movies, youtube, hulu, netflix, etc.) or download them as files.

• No cd/dvd drive but you can probably buy an external one and connect it. You can also access Netflix to stream movies.
