Easily, without a doubt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently, the Acer Chromebook R13 can run Android apps via the Play Store on the Beta Channel. I have tried this and it seems to work well for me. I am also a student and using MS Office Android apps seems to work just fine. You do lose some advanced features but all the basic functions are all there. I've been able to use both Android apps and have several tabs open at the same time and the performance has not lagged. This Chromebook is pretty impressive and you will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase it. Good screen, build and battery life equate to excellent buy IMO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have MS Office extensions available in the Chrome Apps store and also if you have MS Office 360 you can access them through the web as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cannot load Microsoft Office to this it only runs google chrome. Google has several apps that work like excel, word, and powerpoint. If you have a word document and save it to google drive you can then open and edit it with a chromebook. You can experiment with the google programs on the google webpage just click on the small boxes in the top right corner of the google web page.
