I have an ancient AMD Radeon 5450 and the default res WIN10 suggested was 1920x1080, which looks great. The monitor is large enough where going higher would probably screw up the aspect ratio. Maybe check the settings on the monitor itself to be sure you are not zooming in there because the window framing should be automatic.
