A:AnswerI have used Office in the past and am fine using Google apps instead. Personally I do not need anything more. I think some users are just more comfortable using a product they are familiar with. There are probably features on Office not in Google apps but I haven't missed any. So maybe preference?! If you have a Google account try the apps out to be sure you can do what you need. You can always get Office later if the apps aren't enough. :-)
A:AnswerAccording to all I can find... Chrome OS updates often and should update automatically to 64bit. Chrome is not like Windows and cannot rum most Windows OS programs. About 2 weeks in I am very happy with this laptop.
