• A:Answer Everett, I got a new Sony receiver for Christmas, and two had 2 Best Buy Geek Squad members, Giovanni and Steve, install it. They were here for about an hour, and it cost $129.99. They hooked everything up, cleaned up their mess, and took the old Pioneer receiver with them to be recycled. They even replaced the wiring on one of my Bose surrounds without my asking them to do so. I think $129.99 is the 'standard' Geek Squad fee. They did a great job! I would definitely use the Best Buy Geek Squad, again, in the future. Kurt

Q: QuestionDoes Best buy offer an estimate for home theatre set up ? I just bought a house that has a home theater but no devices. All of the speakers are installed in the walls and ceilings and I would like to buy a receiver and flat screen to be installed.

• A:Answer They have a thing called an IHA, in home advisor. They send a guy to your house, they see what you already have and tell you want you need based on what you want to accomplish. It's free for them to go out there and check out your area, then once they give you the info and price it out for you too.

• A:Answer I asked for a neighbor who was in you same situation and here is what I was told. Yes they do this type of service. But you need to call your local Best Buy and schedule an IN HOME Consultation FIRST tell them what you have and what you need. They will send a Qualified Review Technician to your home to review your ENTIRE system. They will go in your attic checking your systems wring, check your main box, do all the necessary work up to find the problem. They will then be able to tell you an estimated cost - with no obligation. If you agree to cost then an appointment will be set for a Qualified Repair Technician to come back with any and all things needed to complete the repair.

(This is providing you purchased the item there, and your location is within a reasonable distance to the Best Buy store.
