Hi Nancy - I just purchased this with a new camera and it is a physical card that is shipped to you. It's very similar to a prepaid gift card wrapped in a cardboard sleeve. Once you take it out of the outer cardboard, you need to scratch off the code on the back to enter online. Hope this helps!
