You are allowed two computers per purchased program. In my case, I have installed on laptop for traveling, and on desktop for most of my editing (larger monitor, full-sized keyboard). If you have only installed on one computer, you could use the additional install allowance on your new computer. Adobe tech support has been very helpful (800-833-6687).

Suggest you contact the service folks who are going to transfer your programs from your current computer to your new computer. In the past, my Photoshop Elements 11 was transferred from my older computer to my newer computer with no problems.
