• I do not believe that Photo Element is a subscription. I have several versions and never paid for a subscription to use. You just have to buy a new version if you want updates every year or whenever they drop a new version.

• This is not a subscription. This is a fully licensed software. I would buy it. Verses paying 20 bucks a month. If you do the math the cost in eight months you would have paid it off. And it's yours to use at your favor, when they release another version might be a decade from now.
