Wind does not seem to bother them. Your ears are not covered and thus outside sounds will take the usual route. It is possible to "hear" sound from both the ear and bone conduction My set came with ear plugs. When in place this gives the earphones a sound blocking/isolation effect since the wind may generate noise around the helmet/ears. They block that sound. I have good luck with the headphones for listening and the mic is very good. Both use jawbone technology for a very good headphone experience.
