Yes, the EcoSurfer M2 actively targets and cleans the waterline area. As a dedicated robotic pool skimmer, its primary job is to cruise the pool surface to collect floating debris (like leaves, bugs, and pollen) before it can sink. To ensure it doesn't miss the perimeter, the EcoSurfer M2 is programmed with a specialized edge-cleaning route. After every 50 minutes of standard surface cleaning, it will automatically spend 10 minutes navigating directly along the pool edges to clear out any debris trapped right against the waterline.
