• Yes, with the included USB adapter the Over The Air channels are integretated into the Sling TV guide.

• yes you do and depending on where you live and how good your local channel signals are, I suggest an antenna with a longer range and amplifier. The air tv box gives you a channel directory that displays both your over the air channels and in my case it also displays my Sling channels.
