• Yes it will work with Directv now but you will still have the promps for sling tv.You will get an app for directv and enter it threw there.

• Not yet, but I was able to use Google cast from my phone to watch my DirecTV channels with zero lag or issue.

• It does give you access to the Google Play Store. But since this uses AndroidTV it does not have a DirecTV Now App in the google play store at this time. I only found apps for Sling, PSVue, YoutubeTV, and fubo for the main live tv streaming services,

• As a fully certified Android TV device, the AirTV Player will work with any app published for Android TV through the Google Play store.
