The fine print in the hardware description says the screen is IPS. Assuming it's identical to the base-level IPS in other current 17" Alienware laptops, that's a 60Hz G-Sync "anti-glare" display (that's from the Dell website). I would ASSUME "anti-glare" means a matte finish, but I suppose it might be some other kind of anti-glare finish/coating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.its a 60hz 1080p gsync panel I tested it in the store
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This appears to be the base screen option from Dell - 60Hz, Matte, IPS, no G-Sync. Dell offers a G-Sync version of this screen for an additional $50, but it doesn't seem to be available through Best Buy at the moment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told by best buy this is a 120 hz screen with no gsync. Usually if it has any gsync it's stated in the ' specifications'
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's gsync compatible, since it's running the basic ips 60hz screen with gsync and the screen it's matte
