“My fan runs a lot on this PC and I noticed in temps that the CPU gets to mid 80's (86, 87) regularly and stays there when I am playing video games like Second Life. Is this normal for this PC or should I consider upgrading to liquid cooling?”

It is normal since the processor has a lot of cores on it, but I recommend upgrading to a Liquid Cooler, Corsair h60 or the own Dell liquid cooler to reduce temperature
