1080 should work fine. A 1080 doesn’t use even half of 480w. Sounds like you may have it installed wrong? Did you connect the two power cables to the 1080?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I browsed quite a few reviews before purchasing the Alienware Graphics Amplifier. It seems that it depends on which GTX 1070/1080 you own, Gigabyte, Asus, Zotac, eVGA or from Nvidia, you may have size or power issues. I've owned the AGA for around half a year and it runs great with my eVGA GTX 1070.
